Daria + Andy Photography Blog bio picture

Welcome to Daria + Andy's blog!

Daria Bishop Photographers is us, Daria and Andy Bishop, a wife and husband team…and we specialize in exceptional wedding photography!  We realize that each wedding is as unique as you are, so we approach each wedding with new eyes and a fresh perspective.

A wedding can take a year or more to plan but ends in a day.  We capture the love, romance, people, emotion and details, which you’ve worked so hard to bring together and that tell the story of your amazing day.  Our distinctive and award-winning style combines real moments with the magic from your wedding so you can remember and cherish your celebration for the joyous years to come.

We're totally in love with each other, our two beautiful children Summer and Baxter, our dog, Yeti and cat, Lucky.  We are passionate about photography, love, and life, and truly enjoy the fabulous couples we get to meet along the way!

We would be honored and thrilled to photograph your wedding!

family life: A Valentine Mystery in Montpelier!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

For something a little different this year, the kids and I traveled to Montpelier to see what all the hoopla surrounding the Valentine Phantom was about.   Every year since 2002 residents of the state capitol have woken up on Valentine’s Day to thousands of paper hearts plastered to shops and homes around town.  Local author and Burlington Free Press columnist Chris Bohjalian wrote about it in this morning’s paper.  You can read his column *HERE*!
As you know, I love to take photos, so I was busy snapping away at this fun and mysterious tradition. I hope you love it!!

Before our little walk around town we stopped for lunch at Coffee Corner. The kids love hot chocolate…with whipped cream!
