In the fall I was invited by Vermont Vows + WellWed magazines to spend part of the day at the Tunbridge World’s Fair photographing bridal gowns for the spring/summer issue. As there were several photographers and a team of creative people who contributed to the shoot, it was so much fun to see how it came together when the issue hit the newstands recently! It was so worth the wait. Everyone’s work was beautiful! If you want to see an online preview *CLICK HERE!* (The gown feature starts on page 114.) But since this issue is really spectacular and Andy and I have oodles of work featured beyond the gowns, you’ll want to get your hands on a real copy!
Being involved in this was a fabulous experience and tons of fun, so I thought it might be fun for you to see a few of my favorite outtakes from the day. Here you go….
Our model, Jemesii , was not only stunning, but sweet and lovely to work with.

When I met Jemesii in the morning she looked like this. I wish I could transform into a gorgeous model with some make-up!

Krista Washburn, editor and creative genius of Vermont Vows + WellWed magazines, does a quick touch-up on Jem’s hair. She has an amazing eye for details!

It was so much fun shooting with one of my bff’s Barrie Fisher. I love the audience…along with the little budding photographer.

How cute is this little farm girl with her sheep? I love the Tunbridge Fair.

Marion with Tweed River Video was documenting the shoot for the magazine. I’m pretty sure my interview ended up on the cutting room floor…I’m much better on the other end of a camera. But if you want video for your wedding, Marion is your gal!

Following a gown and accesory change, Cynthea of Cynthea’s Spa (make-up) and Sarah of Finishing Touch (hair) give Jemesii a new look.

I thought it would be fun to give this photo an old fashioned finish.

I’ve always wanted to photograph a bride in a bird cage veil. I guess a model will have to suffice for now.

Fab NY photographer Joe Elario, Krista Washburn, editor of VT Vows/WellWed, and me.

The spectators.

Watching the races.

I love the light in this one.

This gentleman was walking through the fair, so we grabbed him for a few shots.

TOMORROW: We’ll announce the winner of the Ring Match-up Contest!!
