Daria + Andy Photography Blog bio picture

Welcome to Daria + Andy's blog!

Daria Bishop Photographers is us, Daria and Andy Bishop, a wife and husband team…and we specialize in exceptional wedding photography!  We realize that each wedding is as unique as you are, so we approach each wedding with new eyes and a fresh perspective.

A wedding can take a year or more to plan but ends in a day.  We capture the love, romance, people, emotion and details, which you’ve worked so hard to bring together and that tell the story of your amazing day.  Our distinctive and award-winning style combines real moments with the magic from your wedding so you can remember and cherish your celebration for the joyous years to come.

We're totally in love with each other, our two beautiful children Summer and Baxter, our dog, Yeti and cat, Lucky.  We are passionate about photography, love, and life, and truly enjoy the fabulous couples we get to meet along the way!

We would be honored and thrilled to photograph your wedding!

family life: Happy Birthday Baxter!

It’s official….my blog posts are so out of order that it’s ridiculous!  But I wanted to sneak a couple of personal posts in between the tons of fabulous weddings and e-sessions and other goodies that you have yet to see.  So much happens in the summer around here that it gets a little overwhelming at times.  Andy and I are busy cranking away at work…so for those of you waiting so patiently, it will be worth the wait.  I promise.

But for now…I would like to share that my son is in the last year of the single digits!  Usually we have a wedding or two that prevent us from celebrating on the weekends surrounding his birthday, so the poor little guy doesn’t have a timely celebration.  Well this year, we were able to celebrate on his actual birthdate!  He was so excited that he could hardly sleep the night before.  We were all happy to throw our monkey a fun party.  And there is no better place than the local climbing gym, Petra Cliffs,  for monkeys to hang around on their birthdays.

Summer and I made him a yummy banana cake.

Jane of the jungle!

The mat was the “hot lava”…so everyone had to swing onto a little crate.  It was amusing to watch.

Summer was a pro on the ropes course.

There goes the crazy monkey.

Monkeys need refreshments…
