Andrea + Brad have the distinction of being our first wedding of the 2010 season. Believe it or not, I always get butterflies when I haven’t photographed a wedding for a while, but upon meeting Andrea + Brad that nervous feeling fluttered away. They were such fun and friendly people and we had a blast all day! It really was the nicest way to start our busy season!!
I am so excited to share their wedding day highlights with you. Keep an eye out for a couple unexpected moments as you scroll down.
I posted their wedding slideshow at the bottom, so you can see even more wedding goodness!
Enjoy…
Let’s start with the pretty gown and shoes…

Andrea’s almost ready to go!

Our new assistant takes a photo of the bride.

A warning to grooms: If you wear a lily of the valley boutonniere, you can expect some sniffing. They smell AMAZING!!

Randi Nonni’s flowers were soooo lovely!

A little work of art by one of the many adorable kids in the wedding.

And speaking of adorable kids…

The handsome groom just before the ceremony looking very relaxed and happy.

The beautiful, sparkling bride.

Here comes the bride…

Rev. Gleeson gave such a heartfelt ceremony for Andrea + Brad. The perfect blend of humor and reality.

Some sweet highlights…

I love this moment with Andrea and her new father-in-law.

We took a few photos outside the church…

Then it was time to take over Middlebury!

A warning to brides: Be sure your veil is very secure on windy days or this might happen to you!! Thankfully, Andrea was very good humored about it. This is just one reason she would win an award for the coolest bride ever!!

The guys looked mighty stylish.

We found this cute little shop to take photos in front of.

Just outside the shop there lived this super cute chair, that we just had to use as a prop. This is the perfect segueway into one of my most memorable wedding day moments ever. Andrea decided that I liked the chair so much that she bought it (and it’s mate) as gifts to Andy and me…right then and there! There was no talking her out of it! It was truly surprising and touching!!

Time for some fun with Andrea + Brad!

True love!

Back at the Middlebury Inn…

Some pretty details from the day…

Andrea + Brad’s cake was THE CUTEST!! She made these cake toppers from polymer clay and they were truly adorable.

Time to party!!

The chairs I mentioned earlier were delivered to the Middlebury Inn, which completely cracked us up!! Thanks for all the fun Andrea + Brad! We LOVE our chairs and think of you every day when we see them in our sitting room. xo
